I have to say that I was more than impressed with the week 3 results. As everyone knows I HATE THE SCALE. The scale means nothing to me other than a guide for Lean BODY mass Gain/Loss. The scale is not an indicator of Health or fitness. For god sake the medical society and health insurance use BMI for health status. That information has me obese as well as my wife. BMI is height over weight. That puts me at a BMI of 27....SEVERELY OBESE....YEAH RIGHT. I mentioned to everyone in the beginning that the scale should not move or it may go up in relation to my nutrition philosophies. HOWEVER, you will lose BF, you will lose inches, you will lose dress sizes, clothes will fit better and most of all you will LEARN TO EAT. I know about 8 people that did a 4 month program that fed them low cals and actual meals and they all lost 35+ lbs (ON THE SCALE yet lost quite a bit of lean body mass too), however, 2-3 months later they gained the 35 plus 5-15 more per individual.

My reason for that is the same as all FAST/QUICK weight loss programs....THEY DO NOT BUILD FAT BURNING MUSCLE. Muscle weighs SO MUCH MORE than fat and it burns fat extremely fast. Many of you have not seen the scale go down in 3 weeks but have felt stronger, more energy, clothes are loser and total inches are reducing everywhere, especially in the "trouble areas". REMEMBER its not the scale that tells you how fit you are, the scale only tells haw fast/slow your metabolism is. The RIPPED program is nothing like any other "WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAMS" because we are here to educate a lifestyle not get a quick fix. Quick fixes dont last, education and learning how to train, when to change training and how to eat lasts forever.....More to come I have to get get Cannon from preschool.....

Alex is absolutely right! You guys are doing such an unbelievable job on this program.....! I can't believe the results we are seeing. So many of you have had significant changes to your body composition and it has only been 2 1/2 weeks! The body fat and inches lost and increase in muscle is outstanding. Keep up the good work. You are all motivating me now to push even harder.....!
