Melt Away With This Three-Day Cleanse
Summer is here and if you’re anything like me, you’re looking for a quick way to drop a few pounds. Look no further. I bring you the La Bamba diet. The La Bamba diet, in association with Herbalife products, is a three-day body cleanse that is designed for participants to drop anywhere from three to five pounds in three days. Join Terry & Tina Shorter and myself, as we experience the La Bamba body cleanse.
Begin the diet by weighing yourself on the scale first thing in the morning. Be sure to take your measurements as well (I tend to lose more inches than pounds so measuring with a tape measure is important). Day one: fill seven water bottles (1 liter per bottle) with the Herbalife Wild Berry Beverage Mix and a cap full of Herbal Aloe Concentrate. This is all you will consume for the first day (two gallons total). Day two: prepare and drink five Herbalife protein shakes. ONLY add water to the protein powder. It is important to refrain from adding milk, soy milk, fruit, etc. in order to keep the sugar level down and to achieve maximum weight-loss. Day three: replace two meals with Herbalife protein shakes and allow one “colorful” meal. A “colorful” meal is any meal that includes green vegetables, protein, healthy fats, dairy, etc.
Stay tuned to find out how the body cleanse worked for Terry, Tina, and I. For information on how to purchase the Herbalife products necessary for this diet, email info@RIPPEDusa.com

Hi there Haley!
I am so excited about this short cleanse program!!! I just ordered the things we need to get started. I ordered the Wild Berry drink mix for you and I, and Terry ordered his favorite, Peach Mango, along with the protein and aloe drink. Terry and I have always been big fans of these products and KNOW we will see and feel the difference!
We will have everything to get started on Thursday or Friday!

Hmmm….Terry has me totally intrigued! I am going to check this out! A three day cleanse sounds doable. I did the 11 day Master’s Cleanse and it was quite brutal especially when it came time to jug the salt water drink in the morning! Yuck – just want to puke thinking about it. But, hey kudos for me for sticking it out for 11 days right?

Okay, this is day 3 of my “La Bamba” program and I weighed in at 196 this morning! WOW, from 202 to 196 on a program I was never hungry with, that tastes good, and has allowed me to maintain my usual high energy! I taught R.I.P.P.E.D. last nite, did a heavy chest workout this morning,am teaching class again tonite and feel like a champ. Here are the flavors that I went with and how I felt:
Day 1:
The protein mix that I used was the Peach-Mango with the mango aloe drink….yum! I was going to the bathroom VERY frequently. Be sure you have your running shoes on!
Day 2:
I used chocolate flavored protein shake mix. Still had my running shoes on!
Day 3:
So far I had One Chocolate Shake after my workout, an egg-spinach-mushroom-and onion omelette for lunch, and I’ll have one more shake after I teach tonite. Still drinking water in between meals.
I’ll post my final results in the morning!

WOWWWWWWW! I weighed in this morning before my 15 mile ride and rehearsal for R.I.P.P.E.D. and was 193.6 lbs! I had to step and restep (is that a word?) onto the scale to see if I needed new contact lenses, but low and behold, my eyes were NOT deceiving me! I lost 8.4 lbs. of fat, water, and alot of junk! We won’t get into the specifics of the “junk”!
With the IDEA World Fitness Convention and our R.I.P.P.E.D. Instructor Certification video shoot coming up in August, I feel like I’m on track to look and feel my very best. I’m SO EXCITED!

Hi, its great to read some info my a fellow nutrition and fitness enthusiast. I personally am not a fan of whey protein, I know that on paper it is very efficient. But i have always wondered of the dairy aspect. A protein straight from milk, something great for weight loss and weight gain depending on usage but in terms of some folks you may find yourself to have a low metabolic tolerance to dairy (some people find the same with wheat). I prefer to diversify and try different proteins. This is all my personal opinion of course but i find all our body’s are different and you must do your own search to find the right form of powder for you. i personally shift between promasil and myofusion with some mutant mass if i feel like bulking or even as a recovery drink after a power cardio workout (such as plyo). Try to visit http://www.squidoo.com/best-whey-protein-shakes if anybody want more info.
