1)      F+V, naturally:  Getting 5-9 servings of fruit + veggies a day when you&#8217;re on the road can be a feat of nature, but grab &#8216;n go solutions are easy if you think ahead and opt for items that stand up to the elements.<br />

<p>2)      Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day.  Water helps flush toxins, keeps you hydrated and controls your appetite.  Thirst often disguises itself as hunger. </p>
<p>3)      Avoid processed and refined foods.  Fresh is best.  Fill your shopping cart with foods from the perimeter of the store and opt for complex carbs that are richer in nutrients. </p>
<p>4)      Consume healthy fats.  Brain and organ function depend on healthy fats, found naturally in seeds, nuts and fish.  Consider supplements rich in essential fatty acids if you don’t consume these regularly</p>

Tony Horton, the face of P90X is now R.I.P.P.E.D.’s newest fan.  Not only was Tony gracious enough to stop by for a snapshot or two, he also stayed to talk with it&#8217;s Creators, Terry, Alex, &amp; Fernanda to learn all about the &#8220;One Stop Body Shock&#8221; and gues what? He loved it!!!!</p>

<p>Summer is here and if you&#8217;re anything like me,  you&#8217;re looking for a quick way to drop a few pounds. Look no further. I bring you the La Bamba diet. The La Bamba diet, in association with Herbalife products, is a three-day body cleanse that is designed for participants to drop anywhere from three to five pounds in three days. Join Terry &amp; Tina Shorter and myself, as we experience the La Bamba body cleanse. <span id="more-678"></span></p>
<p><img src="../wp-content/uploads/2009/07/0299US_BevMix_4002-300x300.jpg" alt="Wild Berry Beverage Mix" width="168" height="168" />Begin the diet by weighing yourself on the scale first thing in the morning. Be sure to take your measurements as well (I tend to lose more inches than pounds so measuring with a tape measure is important). Day one: fill seven water bottles (1 liter per bottle) with the Herbalife Wild Berry Beverage Mix and a cap full of Herbal Aloe Concentrate. This is all you will consume for the first day (two gallons total). Day two: prepare and drink five Herbalife protein shakes. ONLY  add water to the protein powder. It is important to refrain from adding milk, soy milk, fruit, etc.  in order to keep the sugar level down and to achieve maximum weight-loss. Day three: replace two meals with Herbalife protein shakes and allow one &#8220;colorful&#8221; meal.
